Kashf al Rayn – on Raising the hands in Salah – by Imam Muhammad Hashim al Sindi (d. 1174 AH)
Kashf al Rayn fi mas’ala Raf’ul Yadayn is a work verifying the Hanafi and Maliki schools’ stance; that the hands should not be raised after the initial takbir of Salah, meaning, no raising of the hands in the other stages of Salah. It was written by the great Muhaddith (hadith scholar) – al-Imam Muhammad Hashim al-Sindi (d. 1174 AH). Born: 10 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1104 A.H. (1692 CE)
Died: Thursday 6 Rajab 1174 AH at 70 years of age
He received his basic education from his father Shaykh Abdul Ghaffur, and then learned from famous scholars of Sind. In 1135 AH he want for Hajj and remained in the two holy cities for two years. There, he studied with some of the great scholars of the time. Some of his teachers include:

Shaykh Abdul Qadir bin Abu Bakr Siddiqi al-Hanafi al-Makki, Mufti of Makkah al-Mukarrama (d. 1138 AH)
Shaykh Eid bin Ali Misri al-Shafi’i al-Azhari (d. 1140 AH)
Shaykh Abu Tahir Muhammad bin Ibrahim Madani (d. 1145 AH). .
Shaykh Hashim al-Sindi is said to have written more than 100 books in Arabic, Persian and Sindi languages.
